The concealer then comes in 002 cool, warm and neutral shades, 003 cool, warm and neutral, then 004 in just neutral. It’s a neutral undertone, but you can also get it in cool or warm tones to suit your skin.

I picked up the Second Skin Enhancing Concealer in the shade 001N, and it was the ideal shade for me. Prices start at £2, such as the concealer, and are no more expensive than £5 for bigger products like foundation and eyeshadow palettes. The brand was discontinued in 2018, but celebrated its homecoming last year, telling customers they can build a whole makeup look for £10. Shoppers have already been leaving rave reviews for the budget beauty buy - so naturally, I had to see what all the fuss was about. The £2 product from the nostalgic brand 17 comes in 10 shades and promises a ‘velvety finish’. The finished result of the 17 Second Skin Enhancing ConcealerĪ Boots own brand concealer has been flooring shoppers, with some even saying it’s as good as high-end brand Estée Lauder. Beth tried 17's Second Skin Enhancing Concealer I find that it blends in beautifully and doesn't feel cakey at all - I'm normally a huge fan of Nars Creamy Concealer but this one is absolutely my new favourite. That wasn't the case with this concealer, with the extensive range I was able to quickly and easily find a match without needing assistance in store. I often struggle to find a shade that actually matches my skin tone with most being far too pale and the limited range around my complexion often given an orange tinge to my look. Have you tried it? Do you feel the same? I hope you enjoyed this review and I’ll see you in the next post!īefore you leave, don’t forget to follow me on social media. We put Aldi, Lidl, Tesco, Asda and Morrisons sun creams to the test and a £3.20 bottle wowed us Jada Jone s tried Fenty Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Concealer Plus, no product is ever perfect, but this one is very, very close! I’m so happy with it and I’m definitely repurchasing it again once I finish it. So, this brand is an amazing alternative for it. However, Tarte was very insensitive towards POC in their shade range controversy, and I decided to stop supporting them ever since. The only two negative elements of this concealer and the reasons why it didn’t get 5 out of 5 roses are that the XL version doesn’t have as many shades as the regular size and that it’s a dupe, which I’m not completely in favor of. I can see it becoming my favourite concealer for sure! Conclusion I like the quality, the packaging, and pretty much everything about it. Overall, I’m very happy with the product and I do believe it’s a better version of the already great original formula. Conceal & Define Infinite Shade Range (source: Makeup Revolution) The XL size, though, only has 24 of those tones available, but it doesn’t focus on lighter shades only.

I set it with a bit of the Matte Base Powder from the same brand, and it didn’t crease at all, not even in the fine lines in the corners of my mouth, which are the problematic areas.Īs I mentioned earlier, the shade range is numerous and diverse: it has 60 different tones with several undertones going from neutral, pink and yellow to red, golden or peach. I tried it for 9 entire hours before giving up -girl needed her beauty sleep-, and the concealer was intact everywhere. One of the claims Makeup Revolution makes is that the product has 16-hour wear. As you can see in the following image, it looks amazing: Before and After | Conceal & Define Infinite Longwear Concealer ( C3) It is very easy to work with, and you don’t need to use too much product. Now, how does it look on the eyes? I decided to give it a go not only as a concealer for the face but as a base for the eyeshadow I would apply after. Conceal & Define Infinite Longwear Concealer XL The price difference is not that much, especially for US residents and considering you get almost twice the product. I decided to get the bigger one from the get-go because I already liked the original and if this was even better, I’d be pissed off if I got a smaller version.

For the first one, there’s a whopping 60-shade range for the XL, 24 shades. Today, we’re talking about their upgraded version: the Conceal & Define Infinite Longwear Concealer XL. I also reviewed them here when they came out and concluded that they were really, really nice. They were pretty affordable and were praised by many, including beauty moguls like Jeffree Star.

When Makeup Revolution released the original Conceal & Define Concealers, people went crazy about them.
